- A Deposit/ Bond of $500 is required to confirm your booking within 7 days of your reservation.Your booking will be confirmed by mail receipt. Please check your receipt for correct details.

BOND. Your Bond will be refunded within 7 days of your return once the management have cleared the vessel check. The houseboat and all it's equipment is given in good working order at the time of hire. $500 Insurance excess will be held if any claim is required. A further deduction will be made should there be any loss or damage to the boat or it's equipment. The boat is cleaned prior to your departure.The management expects the same level of cleanliness when the boat is returned. Extra cleaning will be charged.

FULL CHARGES. are to be paid prior to your departure. Cash, Credit, MC Visa, Money order. Bank Cheques and personal cheques accepted 14 days prior. All charges Tender motor hire, fuel, ice, bait, secure carparking, fender hire, service fees, provisions and environment levy must be paid at the completion of your hire.

PEAK PERIODS. Balance due 30 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATIONS. The Deposit/ Bond will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $250 if a minimum of 60 days notice is given. Less than 60 days. A refund will not be given if the boat cannot be re-booked for the same period and rate. A Full refund will be given if the vessel is re-booked at the same rate. Cancellations must be recieved in writing.

FUEL COST. $41 per engine hour Rates subject to change.

OWN BOAT FOR TOWING. An Aluminium tinny to 4.5m is suitable only. Or 2 small tenders. You will need a set of fenders. Hire a set for $25. Must stow your spare fuel on your own boat.

If you want to bring a tinny over 4.5m or a fibreglass boat it must be driven independantly.

AGE. The skipper of the vessel must be over 21 years of age and sign a Hire Agreement and Briefing Form.

GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS. Sorry no pets or firearms aboard. Medical disclosure must be provided before departure. Passengers must not exceed the numbers of berths of Registration. All fishing regulations as per DPI. Bareboat Charter 2000 regulations. Pollution Regulations. National Parks Permit regulations.

HIRE TIMES. 1pm on the day of departure. 9am return and unloaded on the last day of hire. Early departure available subject to availability.

EASTER, XMAS, NEW YEAR 5 night minimum hire.

NO BOARDING after 5.00pm

The replacement of passengers incurs a fee of $50 per person per night.

A service fee applies for shopping runs required during a hire.

All safety equipment provided is strictly for emergency only. Any use will be charged.

The letting is made on the understanding that the houseboat is placed at the disposal of the hirer on the date booked unless the management is prevented from doing so by mechanical breakdown and any unforseen circumstances. In this case all monies will be refunded in full. The hirer will have no claim on any amount against the managment.

The hirer releases Rainbow Beach Houseboats from any claim for any loss or damage that may be sustained by the hirer as a result of parking it's vehicle in the designated parking premises.
